WakeLP Announces Endorsement Ahead of May Congressional District 4 Primary

Libertarians are encouraged to participate in early voting (4/19–5/5) or on Election Day (5/8) and to consider party endorsements in their decision. Only voters in CD04 will have a Libertarian primary ballot.

Libertarians are rising in the Triangle and statewide. Where it was sometimes difficult to find Libertarians on the ballot, in November voters will have three to five Libertarian candidates on every ballot in Wake County. This gives Wake voters unprecedented choice in selecting representatives outside of establishment parties.

In Congressional District 4, which includes most of the city of Raleigh, western Wake County, parts of south Durham County and all of Orange County, two candidates vie to carry your Libertarian message into the November general election.

The Libertarian Party of Wake County, alongside Durham and Orange, endorses Barbara Howe in this contest.

The Libertarian Party of Wake County announces its endorsement of Barbara Howe for U.S. Congressional District 4. This district, currently represented by fifteen-term Democrat David Price, includes central and western Wake County as well as Orange and parts of Durham Counties. Ms. Howe is a passionate and principled advocate for the Libertarian message. She is an active and longstanding supporter of the Libertarian Party. Her many contributions include three campaigns as the Libertarian candidate for Governor. Ms. Howe represents the very best ideals of the Libertarian Party. We encourage all Libertarians and unaffiliated voters in Congressional District 4 to support Barbara Howe in the Primary Election on May 8, 2018.

If you live in Congressional District 4, WakeLP is asking Libertarians to participate in primary voting and to consider this endorsement in your decision. To find your Congressional voting district, visit the North Carolina State Board of Elections website.
