Your 2014 WakeLP Executive Committee
Greetings fellow Libertarians,
My name is Greg Holland. Last month at our annual county convention I was elected chair of Libertarian Party of Wake County. As vice chair last year, I had the opportunity to learn how the party works, and now have a better idea of what it will take to keep things moving in a positive direction. I hope to continue that process as chair this year.
I’d like to take a moment to thank Joy Elliot, who served as the chair for the past two years. Joy was a great help and we hope to see her around at events throughout the year.
Along with myself, there are a few new faces to our WakeLP executive committee. Brian Lewis will replace me as the vice chair. I look forward to having his knowledge and energy to support me throughout the year.

The weather is starting to relent and return to the sunshine we all enjoy here in Wake County. Spring is on the way. And that means it is time again for the Libertarian Party of Wake County annual convention!
The liberty movement is growing fast in Wake County. We recently recorded our 3,000th registered Libertarian voter. (The most of any county in North Carolina!) This is an amazing time to be a part of this growing movement.
In convention we will be nominating and voting on elected officers for the 2014–2015 political year, an exciting election year with our second state-level primary in history!
If you are looking to get more involved and would like to run for a county office, we encourage you to do so. The four offices to be elected are comprised of Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

The liberty movement is growing like crazy right here in Wake County. In fact, just this January, Wake County register its 3,000th Libertarian voter. That is the largest population of Libertarian voters in any county in North Carolina. But there is still a lot of work to do.
Join us for the annual Libertarian Party of Wake County Convention on Wednesday, March 26, 7:00pm at The Gourmet Factory on Western Blvd just inside the belt line.
