Better Ballot North Carolina is a politically, regionally and socially diverse non-partisan non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to educating the NC public about Ranked Choice Voting (RCV). Their mission empowers North Carolinians with knowledge of electoral reforms that bring fairer elections by encouraging greater candidate and voter participation, ensuring office holders win a true majority of voter support, and better reflecting the will of North Carolina’s voters. Thursday, 2 March 2023—Delegates to the 2023 WakeLP Convention elected three new members to their executive committee in Raleigh last night, but narrowly decided to retain incumbent Chair Travis Groo in the only contested race over challenger Dee Watson.
