The liberty movement is growing like crazy right here in Wake County. In fact, just this January, Wake County register its 3,000th Libertarian voter. That is the largest population of Libertarian voters in any county in North Carolina. But there is still a lot of work to do.
Join us for the annual Libertarian Party of Wake County Convention on Wednesday, March 26, 7:00pm at The Gourmet Factory on Western Blvd just inside the belt line.
You can get more information or RSVP on our website, Meetup or Facebook event pages. RSVP is not required and there are no fees to attend. (The Gourmet Factory is a full-service Italian restaurant with a beer and wine selection for individual purchase.)
Libertarian Party of Wake County Annual Convention
Wednesday, March 26, 2014
7:00pm – 9:00pm
The Gourmet Factory
3933 Western Blvd
Raleigh, North Carolina 27606
If you have considered getting more involved, this is your opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of liberty here in Wake County! Two of our current officers have accepted positions with the Libertarian Party of North Carolina. But the down side is, we need to fill their roles at the county level with new volunteers.
Whether you want to work closely with your neighbors and community, or you aspire to make a difference at a state or national level, serving with Wake County is a great first step.
You will get to meet fun and interesting local libertarians. You will have the support of many “seasoned” libertarians and former office holders. And, most importantly, you will have the opportunity to *make a real difference* in our dynamic and growing community!
For more information about the officer positions that will be elected at the convention, see our officer election information post or email Kenneth Penkowski, current Secretary at [email protected].
