Kevin Terrett is the new 2022 Libertarian candidate for state House District 41, the Wake County Libertarian Party announced today. He replaces Travis Groo, who’s moving out of the district.

Terrett, 57, works in the transportation industry and has lived in North Carolina for 35 years. He lives in Cary and enjoys spending time with friends and family and attending Canes games.

“I’m running to bring more choices and more opportunities for parents and small businesses,” said Terrett, “When government oversteps its regulatory or taxing bounds, politically influential special interests determine the shape of those rules. Despite good intentions, politicians and agencies create a situation that benefits established, well-connected interests and prevent better ideas and unique solutions from developing.”

In addition to 17 legislative candidates, Wake voters will see the Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, Shannon Bray, and Libertarian Brian K. Lewis running in a non-partisan race for Wake County Soil & Water Supervisor on their ballots.
